The chosen studio setting on Chapel Street in Melbourne proved to be the perfect backdrop. The space blended modern design elements with touches of historic charm. The natural light that poured through its expansive windows accentuated the studio’s clean lines, minimalist decor, and the subtle textures that are at the heart of their design philosophy.

The shoot was carefully planned to showcase teamwork and the creative energy that fuels The Draft Assembly. I took a documentary-style approach, focusing on candid moments like a designer sketching plans, or team members discussing ideas, capturing the collaborative nature of the studio. To complement this, I used tight framing, dynamic angles, and a mix of wide shots to emphasize the design process in motion.
